Hi Naveed
sorry I'm really swamped at the moment with prep for the conference on Thursday and not sure what you mean by that statement. Hopefully someone else will have time to advise.
Regards
Ron

HI Ron
Switching to debug logging did not help and I've also upgraded to v3.2 without issues during the installation ... but the problem persists.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Naveed

Hi Ron,
The following should work : https://xerte.bris.ac.uk/XerteError.mp4
This is impacting the Text pages, and also certain Media, e.g. Advanced Images/Graphics, Sound, however PDF's ad Morph Images are fine. Charts are also OK, haven't checked others.
Apache access log shows status 500 error ..

I would *prefer* not to go to the latest release, unless the issue I have is a known issue. That said, I can see you guys have been busy on rectifying bugs, and making improvements in 3.2 :-

Is there any way to increase the log levels to something more detailed, e.g. 'debug' mode?
Thanks

Hi it doesn't look like your video and install is available externally?
Is it just the text pages that aren't working or all pages? It would be very strange if it was just the text pages.
Check permissions on the USER-FILES folder in particular.
BTW 3.2 was officially released yesterday in advance of #xerte16 this week so you might want to try again with that and be sure to follow the prompts and any warnings on the set-up pages.

Subject: [Xerte] Error message when playing/publishing content of type Text
Hi,
I've installed the latest release of Xerte on dev server, BUT when adding content of type 'Text' to a project, e.g. Bullets, Plain Text etc, a pop-up error message displays in the browser. There are no errors showing the logs at the server end.
See video clip below, any clues as to how I can resolve this?
