Alistair was here on Friday and we did a few accessibility tweaks, also
I’ve been checking some occasional fixes / new bits and pieces into
\templates\pageTemplates\models, so there are possibly changes in the main
set thata ren’t reflected in your own?

Yes my current models will not include any changes you made on Friday. Tom
if you want to update those changes go ahead. I will need to check over the
tab nav connector as it may also need modifying since the tab navigator has
changed. If you see any issues of accessibility that I have missed in the
new pages then by all means address those as well.

Furthermore, Jonathan, do you mind if I change the way you handled the 'You
scored 2 out of 4' issue. For a translator it is MUCH easier to have to
translate 'You answered $C out of $T'. In the code you would have to
substitute $C and $T, and you have to explain users NOT to change the $C
and $T, but it is much more flexible and cleaner than the way you do it now
in my humble opinion.

The only reason I implemented the question 1 of 8, you have scored 3 out of
10 etc. in a way that lets you choose whether to put the page number before
the count or the count before the page number was because I don't know
enough about the variety of languages that Xerte may get translated in to
to be sure that one or more of them would not normally express things in
what would be to us the reverse order. Just as in English we say telephone
number whilst in French it is expresses as "number of the telephone". If
this is unlikely to be an issue then there is no point in implementing it
this way and simplifying it makes sense. I am happy to be guided by you.

Whilst I have put in an amount of work to help with this next version of
Xerte I hope I can remain objective to achieving the optimum solution and
not become overly attached to any particular feature that I may have
introduced. If there are features that I have introduced that you feel
could be improved or need modifying then now is the time to speak up. :-)

 I think I understand what you are referring to with the concept of the
translation database. I look forward to seeing what you have come up with.
If it means that the English set remain the master set that are updated,
and then your database allows for other translations file sets to be
generated automatically then that will be extremely valuable in coping with
the potential confusion that multiple sets of xwds could introduce.
