The passing of Tore is a profound loss that leaves an ache in the heart. I
first came to know him in the 1990s, met him in person in Glasgow in 2011,
and remained in correspondence with him and his wife Ingrid until this
year. Tore was a man of remarkable integrity, kindness, and generosity of
spirit. All who had the privilege of knowing him will remember his constant
readiness to help and support, no matter the circumstances. I treasure the
photographs I have of him, most taken during symposia, and I believe we
could create a shared folder to honor his memory and the legacy he leaves
behind.
Grigory.
