[Xerte] user login issues

Using switch.php is ok for me, so I won't investigate further.

Anyway,

1. the permissions for index.php are 777;
2. index.php is treated as start page (I think it should not load anything
if I try to access the URL by folder name:
http://www.myDomain.it/myXerteFolder/. Am I wrong?);
