[Public-engagement] Internal conference on policy and public engagement, 17 September - registration is now open

Dear all,

We are pleased to let you know that registration for the annual conference on policy impact and public engagement is now open via Eventbrite at https://policy-and-public-engagement.eventbrite.co.uk. The conference is aimed at researchers, academics and professional staff across all disciplines working in or supporting policy impact and public engagement.

This year's focus is on the civic role of universities and how our research and expertise help us meet one of our core values: 'sustaining and improving the places and communities in which we are located'.

The conference will be opened by Professor Shearer West, Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of Nottingham. The day will feature plenaries, a mini Pecha Kucha showcase by colleagues from across university about the lessons they have learned from working with the local community and a variety of breakout sessions tailored for various levels of expertise and experience.
