[Xerte] Change the global look custom look example files

Julian,
Thanks for the start on the customization. I'm unsure of the terminology so please bear with me.
I started a new Xerte desktop project and was able to remove the background using the code you provided in a script object under framework and before the first page, but when I attempted to add the new background image using the code you provided I could not get the .swf to show in the preview. I have attached my project folder so you can see what I attempted.
to recap:
I want to load the .swf file behind the navigation elements and then nudge the navigation elements around so they sit nicely on top of the background image. I believe I will need to import the background swf file to a level below the navigation elements. is this possible the way I am doing it?
Can I sent the background swf to level 0?
Can the individual navigation elements be moved using x and y.
Is this the best way to do this can I generate a template from the end result?
Any feedback or assistance would be greatly appreciated
