Not on the properties no, you need to write some code, and probably you
want to buid some buttons to play / stop, as the default controllers
don't do this for you,

I am interested in playing just one small piece of a large sound or
video file. 

Is there a *simple* way of setting the starting point and ending point
of sound or audio file in the properties or wherever?

Otherwise, I presume I would have to go into an interaction icon or
something like that and write some code. Not a problem in the long
run...
