They've been long time users, so assume it all worked before.

Nah I don't think so... Citrix desktops run virtualized remotely on a server... not sure why it wouldn't give the browse dialog though...
With the Mac-Safari issue the browse dialog opens etc it was just the session check that wasn't allowing safari to proceed to write the file to the disk...
Also, they say "since upgrading to XOT 2.0" does this mean that the browse dialog worked in the previous version v1.7-9 or was this never tried with Citrix?
I would possibly suggest they confirm that the browse dialog appears on other websites where you can upload files...

Any idea? Citrix? Or the browser? Maybe related to the Mac thing you fixed John?

Hello
We are using Citrix servers and having a few issues with XOT 2.0;
1. When we go to 'import media' on any page type the browser pop up box doesn't appear & we are unable to upload any pictures or files.
2. In addition to this since upgrading to XOT 2.0 when we go to publish changes made to the content, the pop up box 'upload successful' does not appear and changes are not saved.
3. When we can add pictures in hot spot pages they don't appear very big regardless if they were 800x600 or 2000x2000 is this intentional as we would like to upload a number of detailed images for learners to interact with.
I have spoken to our IS department who seem stumped on this. We have changed IE9 (our only allowed browser) settings to allow pop ups, changed internet options - browsing history to 'every time I visit this page' but still the above doesn't work going through our thin clients that use our citrix server. What is more confusing, is that If I connect one of our laptops to our citrix, the above (1&2) works. Alas we don't have enough laptops for our content editors. Has anyone else using citrix had these problems & know how to overcome them?
Thank you
