ok here goes - revision of what we have right now...
There are several ways to export a project. An exported project is packaged,
but not deleted, into a zip file for you to share with another user, to
deploy on the web, or to import into a SCORM compliant LMS or VLE. You can
choose whether to export all of the project's files, or just those files
used by the project.
Export:
1. Export for deployment. Contains only the files required for importing
into a vle (without SCORM tracking), sharing via CD or USB etc or importing
into another XOT installation.
Checkbox (unchecked by default) Convert to local links where possible
Tick here if you want references to files uploaded to this LO via the Media
& Quota tab to be converted so that access to XOT is no longer required.
2. Archive export. Complete backup including all required files for offline
editing with the Xerte developer application or for sharing with other Xerte
developer application users.
If you want to export a SCORM package, you can choose to export SCORM 1.2 or
SCORM 2004 packages. If you don't know which version of SCORM you need, the
SCORM 1.2 package will work in most LMS and VLE systems.
SCORM Export:
4.SCORM 1.2 package
5.SCORM 2004 3rd Ed package

No, I think we need to find the words to explain the scenario for this
option on the tab.

Because that could lead to chaos! ;-)
It seems to me we all agree we have 4 export types/links + a checkbox to
convert to local if required.
Explaining why you would or wouldn't use that checkbox option could be
covered outside of the interface as it is with the Techdis tutorials and
perhaps now the community site.
Don't we have FWS with those 4 options + checkbox?

i mean for sysadmins
you've all got your own opinions on how you'd like it to look, so let people
set it their way.
