Hi Norman,
Is the encyclopedia chapter you're referring to "International Encyclopedia of Education" for which David Yaden is an editor?
If so Debra Crouch and I have submitted a chapter entitled "The Literacy Journey:From A Psychological to a Biological Way of Thinking About Learning to Read and Write .
In this chapter we focus on all levels of reading/writing, pre-school—> Ph.D.
Thanks for reading out to Non-USA members of RHF.
 Brian Cambourne.

I've answered your other questions in CAPS underneath :

Colleagues

This query is primarily directed to those of you outside of the United States.

Several of us are responding to editor remarks for an encyclopedia entry that will deal with theory, research, and praxis in reading and learning to learn programming and courses at the college level. We need to broaden our coverage to the degree possible beyond the U.S.A. Hence, we have several questions with which you might be able to assist us.

1. Is there a professional association in your country that focuses on postsecondary reading and learning research and praxis? This could be a special interest group in a traditional literacy association.
THE AATE ("AUSTRALIAN ASSOCIATION FOR TEACHING ENGLISH")
2. Who would be the individuals in your nation who would be considered the "go to" experts in the area of college reading and learning research and praxis.
ALAN LUKE, PETER FREEBODY, PAUL GARDNER, ( IF YOU GOOGLE THEM YOU'LL GET EMAIL ADRESSES)
3. Are there any texts (articles, chapters, books) published in your nation or region that are considered seminal in the coverage of research and praxis of postsecondary reading and learning to learn programming or courses.

If you can assist in any manner, we would deeply appreciate your guidance. Responding to my private e-mail would be an appropriate way to share your wisdom and guidance.

Thanks so much.

Norm
