Thank you, Donna for taking up the baton. I enjoyed listening to the podcast and agree with you that he was a good interviewer and your responses were right on. patty

Subject: [Reading-hall-of-fame] Dyslexia podcast

All,

The podcast was recorded a week ago Monday and, I think, it was immeasurably enhanced by the suggestions that folks in this group and the 'dyslexia work group' provided on the very short timeline I provided. I managed to fold much of your input into the conversation. But, some I couldn't get in because of how the conversation unfolded and/or because I lost my train of thought.

The interviewer was great. Having NO experience with podcasting, I was greatly relieved. If you are ever asked to interview for a podcast by Nathaniel Hansford of Pedagogy Non Grada don't be concerned about a "gotcha- type" approach. He asked me to share that he would be happy to interview other members of our group(s).

Here is the note from the Nate with the links:

Everything is posted now. I also posted the podcast in some teaching groups that were talking about the issue.

At the moment, the link for the parent booklet is not working - long story. We'll get it fixed somehow - not sure when though. So, in the meantime I have attached the pamphlet/booklet to this email. If you want to share the podcast links, consider attaching the pdf as well.

People are free to download and print the booklet. Many of the schools in my neck of the woods provide copies to families of primary grade learners.

Thanks for your input during this process. And, special thanks to Vicki Risko and Peter Johnston for being so helpful in relation to the ponderings I shared with them along the way.
