Hi folks

Denny tried to post the message below, but for some reason it was interpreted by some servers as fraudulent. Sorry, Denny.

Colin

I read the news with great sadness.

The first proposal I wrote for IRA - as it was then - was with Bill Teale. We were both new to the field and it was an early proposal for Bill if not his first. It took us three weeks of telephone calls to write the proposal. Neither of us were quite sure what was expected and we spent as much time discussing the process of proposal writing as we did the content of the session.

The experience stood me in good stead and has stayed with me through the years --I've always remembered it when I saw Bill's name in a research publication or said hello to him at a conference. Yesterday I remembered with sadness but also gratitude --

I will think of him again today and send my condolences to his family and to all his friends and colleagues who loved and cared for him.

In kindness,

Denny
