A few years ago we offered cosponsored sessioins at several conferences
including the EUROPEAN conference. I think we should dothat again. I want
to remind all of us that the Reading Hall oof Fame is anindependent
organization and not a part of any group including ILA. ILA has provided
secretarial services but I am sure they would charge us for that. We have
become quite a robust organizatioin now with a good leadrship team, a
functioning website and good visibility.
Meeting at LRA should be a boost to their program and good connectiions for
us to young researchers.
I feel sad for ILA but short of law suits I see no way to fight the hostile
take over it has undergone.
