[Reading-hall-of-fame] Tributes to Alan

Two attachments.

First, I compiled all of the tributes that you and folks from the LRA
listserv provided in response to my news of Alan's death.  They are quite
remarkable.  And if anyone wants to add a statement, please share it with
me.

Second, I'm sharing a preview of the memorial I composed, relying on many
of the sentiments you expressed, for the LRA program booklet.

I don't know who else is coming, but both Patty Anders and I will
informally represent the RHOF at the ceremony for Alan in Solvang
tomorrow.  If others come, we will look forward to seeing you there and
sharing our regard for Alan's life and work.

Many are planning, I know, to attend the memorial in Venice next week.
