Dear Colleagues,
We have lost a wonderful friend and colleague. Alan was kind, professional,
a gentleman and a scholar. He helped me immensely during my terms with IRA.
He answered questions, offered sound advice, and he was always calm, and
easy to talk to.
Susan and Adam, remember your wonderful memories within your family and the
traveling you all did together.
Alan is a tremendous loss to the literacy community.
