That's awfully nice to know, David - thanks for sharing the information. I'd wondered about word spreading, because I've received messages from several people over the past few days to whom I'd not yet had the chance to write myself. If it seems appropriate in the context of the RHoF message thread to let people know where I'm heading, please feel free to give the information that I've taken a position with the Baltimore City Schools in its division of partnerships, community engagement, and communications. So although I won't be working directly in literacy or education publishing, I still hope to make a positive contribution to K-12 education. And, who knows? If some of the RHoF members are involved in urban education initiatives or work in Maryland, perhaps our paths will cross in future. For any who would like to have it, my personal e-mail address is afullerton at comcast.net<mailto:afullerton at comcast.net>.
All best wishes,
Anne

Anne,
As word of your separation from IRA has reached members of the Reading Hall of Fame, many laudatory comments about your editorial work have been shared. While I am not at liberty to share the comments of others, you should know that many important folks in the field share my feelings about your good work and the loss to IRA that your leaving represents.
David
