Amen, Bob, to your thoughts about the good work done by Anne Fullerton and the need to maintain services that have served the organization so well over the last 5 decades.

Hello Jack,

Thank you for the update on the IRA Board meeting and IRA direction. It
would seem that there is severe financial and leadership difficulty in
Newark. I was unaware of the reduction in field support such as reginal
meetings. How sad.

I have just heard from our Theoritical Models and Processes editor - Anne
Fullerton. I am so sorry that she is leaving IRA. She is one of the best
professional editors that I have had the opportunity to work with over the
years. This will be a great loss to IRA and indicaes the severity the
problem in Headquarters. The staff reduction over the past year or so
presents a most serious concern.

I am interested in any ideas you might have to insure that membership and
editorial services can be continued and that the future of the
organization can be insured in coming years.

I hope you academic work is moving well.

Cordially,
Bob
