September 7, 2010

 

I have just learned that Reading Hall of Fame member John C. Manning
passed away on Thursday, September 6th. He will be greatly missed, as a
teacher and as a good friend and mentor. The funeral will be in Fall
River, Massachusetts this Saturday. A memorial service is set for
Friday, September 17th in Minnesota.  When more details are available I
will send it.
