I'm very excited about the opportunity to collaborate with the RDF team and contribute to some of your fascinating projects. My background is in data science, and I'm keen to apply my skills to support the team's research goals.
I'm sorry I can't make the next two meetings, but I look forward to meeting you all properly later in the summer. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out if any initial ideas or potential projects come to mind.

Dear all,

Some of you may know Ola who has been seconded to the researcher academy for a while. His substantive post is with the IT department.

Ola is interested in developing his research experience. I had a chat with him a while back and told him about the various projects that are happening in the RDF. He has now confirmed that the University will allow him to engage in some research activities. If you have any ideas about where you might make use of the skills of a data scientist, please feel free to get in touch with him. I plan to invite Ola to join an RDF meeting later in the summer (he cannot make the next two, and then I will be away) so he can introduce himself and we can discuss which project(s) high might want to engage with.
