Dear Professor Stahl,
By way of introduction, I am an Academic Search Consultant with the University of Auckland Waipapa Taumata Rau and currently assisting Professor Susan Watson, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, with an international search to attract candidates to a newly created position of Associate Professor or Full Professor of Ethics.
Given your expertise in ethics in ICT/emerging technologies and critical theory in technology and your international network, we would like to seek your advice and recommendations on this appointment, please.
Maybe you are aware of colleagues with research interests in the area of ethics and economics, ethics and law, and/or ethics related to organisations and business. Our Business School aspires to build its capacity in these areas including but not limited to ethical thinking, moral philosophy, corporate responsibility, sustainability, social choice theory, social justice, ethical problem identification and analysis, professional ethics, ethical leadership, data ethics and ethics related to frontier technologies.
We would be delighted to receive any advice and/or recommendations of potential candidates. We are happy to consider colleagues who are already at the professor/associate professor level but also more junior colleagues for whom this position could be their next career step. Maybe you are even aware of expat New Zealanders or Australians who might be interested in returning home or closer to home. We would be delighted to hear about them.
I have taken the liberty of attaching further information about the roles should you wish to forward this to any of your colleagues who might have a personal interest.
Many thanks for your time, and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
With best wishes,
Kathrin
