Deakin University is seeking two outstanding mathematics educators for teaching and research positions in the School of Education, one of three schools in the Faculty of Arts and Education.
The School of Education is a leading provider of primary and secondary teacher education,early childhood educator preparation, educational leadership and adult, vocational and applied learning. It also offers a range of innovative and flexible postgraduate and higher degree byresearch programs.
The School has a vibrant research culture and is linked to one of Deakin's Strategic Research Centres, the Centre for Research in Educational Futures and Innovation (CREFI<http://www.deakin.edu.au/arts-ed/efi/>).
Mathematics Education staff are also members of the Re-imagining futures in Science, Technology, Environmental and Mathematics Education (STEME<http://www.deakin.edu.au/arts-ed/steme/index.php>) research group.

Education courses at Deakin are offered to on-campus students at the Melbourne Burwood campus, the Geelong Waurn Ponds campus and the Warrnambool campus, and to off-campus students throughout Australia and internationally.
The primary location for these two positions is the Melbourne Burwood Campus, however the University may require staff to work at other Campuses.
