Contributions sought for Philosophy of Mathematics Education Journal 23 (2008)

Dear Colleagues

Contributions are currently sought for The Philosophy of Mathematics Education Journal issue number 23 to be published late Summer 2008.
This is an international refereed journal read by many students, teachers and researchers worldwide. There were 3 issues in 2007 read by around 6000 visitors in total so far. Past issues are accessed via http://www.people.ex.ac.uk/PErnest/ <http://www.people.ex.ac.uk/PErnest/>

The aim of the journal is to freely disseminate new thinking and research and to encourage informal dialogue on theoretical and philosophical issues concerning mathematics and mathematics education. In particular papers on the philosophy of mathematics and the philosophy of mathematics education are particularly but not exclusively sought. A range of authors is desired from teachers and graduate students to experienced and well known researchers.

Issue number 23 will be assembled over the next couple of months and published towards the end of the summer. Please contact me with your ideas and any scheduling issues. Previously published papers are welcome if you would like to reach a wider audience -- and you do not relinquish copyright by being published here. There is no particular style other than that acceptable to other journals.
Unlike numbers 20 and 21 on social justice there is no special focus. I look forward to your submissions.
