Hi all,

Reminder of the CCC in ~1.5hrs, where we'll go over VS Code setup.

If you haven't already, do try to set up remote SSH following Jimi's guide on the GitHub!

See you all there!
Bradley

Subject: CAPT Coding Club (CCC) – Remote SSH & VS Code Setup for Friday’s Session

Hello Coders,
Thank you to everyone who attended last Friday’s session, where we covered Linux and GitHub, with a brief introduction to VS Code.
Before this Friday’s session, I recommend following Jimi's instructions in the GitHub repo<https://github.com/Bradley-March/capt-coding-club> to try remotely SSHing into Captain/ODHAR using VS Code. If you haven’t used these machines before, please contact Phil to get your account set up. Also, note that the guide mentions Remote X11, but this extension is no longer supported—so feel free to skip that part!
This Friday (again at 2pm in A113), we’ll spend the first 30 minutes going over VS Code setup, including settings, keybindings, and useful extensions. The second half will be dedicated to helping with any issues you’re facing, especially related to last week’s topics and the remote SSH setup.
Looking forward to seeing you then!
Cheers,
CCC
