Thank you to everyone who attended last Friday’s session, where we covered <b>Linux</b> and

<b>GitHub</b>, with a brief introduction to <b>VS Code</b>.</div>

Before this Friday’s session, I recommend following Jimi's instructions in the <a href="https://github.com/Bradley-March/capt-coding-club" id="LPlnk942817" title="https://github.com/Bradley-March/capt-coding-club">

GitHub repo</a> to try <b>remotely SSHing</b> into <b>Captain/ODHAR</b> using VS Code. If you haven’t used these machines before, please contact Phil to get your account set up. Also, note that the guide mentions

<b>Remote X11</b>, but this extension is no longer supported—so feel free to skip that part!</div>

This Friday (again at 2pm in A113), we’ll spend the first 30 minutes going over <b>

VS Code setup</b>, including settings, keybindings, and useful extensions. The second half will be dedicated to helping with any issues you’re facing, especially related to last week’s topics and the remote SSH setup.</div>
