Kathryn, It works in IE, you weren't to know :)

If it helps, every year or so we get a request from a Bristol medical
student whose using Xerte.
It might make sense to ask a lecturer or so about enquiring about getting
xerte installed for everyone at Bristol.
As (hopefully) you can see, we are a helpful bunch so would happily help
people install it.
