[Xerte] IE8 "bug" solved

It turns out my "bug" was actually caused by Compatibility View Settings (Display intranet sites in Compatibility View)

Because anything on the leedsmet.ac.uk domain is considered intranet, it was uses IE7 rendering mode and unchecking the checkbox solves the problem!
