[Xerte] Re: LMS/SCORM question

In pre version 2 moodle (not sure about v2) if you have access to add a
scorm activity then you would normally have access to the course files area
where you can upload, replace, edit files (unless a role override is in
place) but the key point is Moodle extracts the scorm zip to Files > moddata
> 23 (where 23 will vary and is the id of each scorm in that course) So you
would need to browse to the relevant id folder and replace the files there.

Yes, that's my question.
Do most LMS's allow you access on a per file basis?
What does Moodle do?
(As a user, not an admin).

Just replace the .rlo and if necessary .xml wherever the LMS put it?

Does this vary by LMS?

Let's say I have a course with a whole pile of videos.
I change one line in the .rlo.
Do I have to SCORM zip and re-upload the entire course (all 200 Mb's) each
time?
