[Xerte] Online forums and activity reports?

Is the moodle patch dependent in any way on the database software used
in the Moodle installation?

Our moodle server is running on PostgreSQL rather than mySQL.

I realise we would have to install mySQL for Xerte Toolkits, but would
it then be possible to authenticate against the Moodle postgresql
database?

Kind regards

Johnathan

There is a zip somewhere in the archives you can drop over a
standards toolkits install to make it compatible with moodle

	Hi Pat
I can't check at the moment but I think I sent the Moodle zip as
an attachment or if not a link to the list. so a search of the archives
should work - possibly for Moodle patch.

		Hello all,

Do people know where the moodle zip is?

I appreciate its not "official" XOT but I am not aware
of any bugs?

		Hi Ben

I am starting an e-learning projects for grade 4 primary
school maths.

Intention is to use Moodle as LMS and plug Xerte into
it. If you stay in contact I can let you know how our research
progresses.

We'll test the Moodle integration by next wekk,
although, as Patrick mentioned, it already works.

We will jsut be another test group.

We're including a lot of blended learning in our courses
and are keen to use Xerte, although am wondering if there's the
functionality for individual candidates logging on so we can check
individual activity and include group forums, etc. as you can with
Moodle.

Can we do this with Xerte or would Moodle be better?
