There's more: if you set the value of controls to 1, you get the Xerte
media controller. If you set it to 0 you get no controls and you'll need
to provide controls yourself through code.

If you set the value of controls to FileLocation + 'steelOverAll.swf'
//or any of the other flvplayer skins that ship with Flash, you'll get
those controls. Try it with the skin Pat pointed to in the [xerte]/tools
folder. It works with the skins from Flash 8 - unsure about later
versions as I don't have it, and I believe the flv component was
updated. Maybe someone can let us know?

There is a property of the Movie icon called Controls that defaults to
true.
That allows control of the Movie 'out of the box'

Thanks to Pat and Mark for the swift replies. There is a Help topic on
the movie icon which mentions FLV, but I'd not found it as I'd searched
the help file for "video" which doesn't appear in the topic text, and
I'd forgotten that there was a movie icon - D'OH!! What'll be
interesting will be, when I import a FLV, how easy or not it'll be to
control it in Xerte. I strongly suspect I'll have to import it into
Flash and shove a controller skin onto it to present the user with a
control panel. I'll have a play and come running back here if I really
get stuck ;-)
