Luciane:

I know things are difficult, etc.

BUT you know that I have tried over the years to support STUDENTs going to
international workshops, etc.

If Snezana can be flexible, If Brazil & Serbia can get a visa, etc., I will
be happy to find the resources of the Williston Diptera Research Fund to
support Mirian to talk about her research on Brazilian flower flies.

So, please send me a proposal, etc., ASAP.

As I have told you and Wayne will confirm, we will support your visit in
May. The paperwork as you know from previous visits may be slow, but we will
get it done.

Sincerely,

SNEZANA;
We have agreed also to support the attendance of Carlos Ruiz from Colombia.
He may have difficulty in getting a visa, but we will support the costs of
his travel and registration.

ALL:
Everyones' budgets are a mess today because of what the USA did to the
financial markets, etc. But the Williston Diptera Research funds has in the
past and will continue to try in the future to support research to help
increase and diffusion knowledge about flower flies. So, do not hesitate to
ask us for support. We don't have much, but flower fly research comes FIRST!

Chris

Dear Snezana,
I am sorry to say that we (my students and I) are not coming to Serbia.
Unfortunately we did not get the financial resources we need.
I hope we can meet in Costa Rica next year.
My best regards,
Luciane Marinoni
