[Public-engagement] Funding Opportunity: Small grants for participatory research on sustainability - deadline 15 January

Following the success of Green Hustle 2023, The Institute for Policy and Engagement is excited to announce a scheme that allows researchers to contribute to their programme in 2024. We are providing small project grants to allow staff to work with local communities on participatory research projects, exploring sustainability through the theme of common ground. Projects will be showcased during the festival weekend which takes place from 31 May to 2 June 2024.


  *   Fund total is £15k, the maximum amount you can apply for is £6k.
  *   Submissions must be led by a UoN academic or member of research staff and include a community partner. If you do not already have local connections Green Hustle CIC may be able to assist with this.
  *   Projects must run between February and end of June 2024.
  *   Spend must be complete by 31st July 2024.
  *   Successful applicants will be notified by 24 January 2024.
