[Public-engagement] Introduction to Nottingham Festival of Science and Curiosity 2023 - 12 October, 10 am

Dear Colleagues,

The Nottingham Festival of Science and Curiosity<http://www.nottsfosac.co.uk> will be taking place from 6 - 17 February 2023. For the last seven years, the festival has been a key opportunity for researchers and students from University of Nottingham to take their research off-campus and reach new audiences. The festival reaches an average of over 10,000 people and this year will see a return to a full programme of face to face, hybrid and digital events.

If you're interested in getting involved and want to find out more, join Megan Shore (Programmes Manager) and Maria Richards (Institute for Policy and Engagement) for a 30 minute online briefing on Wednesday 12 October, 10-10.30 am.

Megan will provide examples of successful activities that have inspired audiences in the past and answer any questions you may have about how to create something suitable.  Learn how you can contribute to the Festival magazine, participate in the schools programme, create your own event or volunteer to support those running activities. The main focus of the festival is young people and families, with special projects targeting others.
