[Maths-Education] Senior Lecturer -- PGCE Mathematics

The School of Science at Loughborough University is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics Education to act as Programme Director for Secondary Mathematics PGCE programme.
The person appointed will take a leading role in developing and enhancing the research, teaching and enterprise activities of the School of Science in the area of Mathematics Education and will take responsibility for the Secondary PGCE in Mathematics.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with trainee teachers and their mentors in secondary mathematics education, and supervising master's candidates in a PGCE programme. He or she will have a good first degree in mathematics or a related subject and a PhD in Mathematics Education or equivalent research experience with publications in high quality journals.
The successful candidate will contribute to the activity of the Mathematics Education Centre, attracting research funding, leading research projects and supervising research students.
