Colleagues
[with apologies if you receive this more than once]

The School of Education at the University of Southampton (UK) is currently advertising for two positions to take up appointment on 1 September 2008. While the posts are being advertised with a general job description covering a number of areas of work within the department, there are two areas (FE/HE pedagogy and primary/early years) which might suit someone with specific interests in mathematics education.

Hence you might be interested in one of these positions if you have a general interest in either "Further Education and/or Higher Education pedagogy" or "primary or elementary and/or early years education".

The posts are currently being advertised (see below for some details). The closing date for applications is 31 March 2008 at 12 noon. Details and forms (for online application) are at:
http://www.jobs.soton.ac.uk
[search for Reference Number 2080-08-L]

If you are interested, you are welcome to contact me by email or phone.

Please consider forwarding this message to anyone that you think might be interested in these posts.

best regards

Keith
