[Maths-Education] seminar on maths and identities

There are a few places left for a free seminar on 11th September at London Metropolitan University on the way that people form their relationships with mathematics. This is the first in an ESRC funded series and it focuses on the issues of selection and assessment. 
   
  The speakers are:
  Dylan Wiliam, the Institute of Education
  Nicola Rollock, London Metropolitan University
  Laura Black, University of Manchester, and Yvette Solomon, Lancaster University
   
  The seminar will run from 10:30 to 4 and there will be lots of room for discussion. It is open to teachers, academics and policymakers from inside and outside maths education.
