"Algebra is widely recognised as a difficult area of the school mathematics curriculum. Drawing on his recent book, Teaching and Learning
Algebra published by Continuum, Doug will discuss some of the problems of learning school algebra and offer some thoughts on ways of making
the subject more meaningful, purposeful and accessible."
