To the Maths Education List:



The MMP is organising the 3rd International Conference on Mathematics
Enrichment with Communications Technology, from 11th - 13th July 2002 in
Cambridge.



This three day conference will address issues of classroom practice in
primary and secondary school mathematics teaching.



It will include

. Mathematical enrichment activities
. Hands-on graphic calculators workshops

. Hands-on computer workshops

. Exploring the Internet

. Use of interactive whiteboards to teach mathematics

. Computer based activities for the mathematics classroom
. Using live video-conferencing in teaching mathematics
. Professional development
. Catering for the gifted and talented child



 Over 30 presenters, with keynote speakers including
Adrian Oldknow, Simon Singh, Ros Sutherland, Chris Budd, David Hassell,
Bernard Bagnall and John Barrow.

Each day will have a mix of keynote plenary sessions and parallel breakout
groups with the emphasis on hands on activity and practical workshops.
