Research Fellow: Mathematical abilities of children with Specific Language
Impairments


A two-year Research Fellow position, funded by the Nuffield Foundation, is
available from 1/5/01 to work with Dr. Chris Donlan (UCL) and Dr. Richard
Cowan (Institute of Education, University of London). The post involves the
development of new assessments of mathematical language and visuo-spatial
skills, recruitment of study participants, management of and participation
in data-gathering  (along with a junior researcher), data-analysis and
dissemination of findings.

Candidates should have a background in psychology, speech and language
therapy, education or other relevant discipline. PhD or substantial
professional experience is desirable.
