My website Appetizers and Lessons for Math and Reason has a new HQ and
new appearance at http://www.whyslopes.com It may be called Why Slopes and More
Math. or it may retain its old name. The content has expanded. There is a now about 200 or
so webpages, quicker to download, and covering many topics in mathematics education.

This website should not have been necessary. It
should have been simple matter offline for a teacher not in the business of
writing articles on mathematics education to report lessons and to dicusss why
immediately eased and removed fears and difficulties in class 1983-89. Howvever, as a novice

teacher efforts to report lessons that shone and to discuss why were dismissed before
being heard in a repeatable and reproducible fashion, one campus after another. And that
was perfectly normal.

If my website counts for a worthwhile, nontransient college post in education, I will
submit articles for peer review. In exploring and expressing ideas for education, I never
believed my formal publication record was worth extending, given the extreme competiton for
academic posts. So I never aubmitted
my work piecemeal for formal publication.

Cheers All
