I have now heard form some other colleagues specifically on the
mes-conference list who are getting the NAVIDADE virus several times over.=
=20

I have just intercepted another message sent to the MES conference list
that appears to have come from Darlinda Moreira in Portugal - but is not
actually from her. This time it is a very old message about the first mes
conference. All messages that are being used seem to have originally had
attachments to them, and the attachment - which were flyers for books or
conferences have been swapped for the NAVIDADE.EXE file.=20

I have now changed the mes and maths education lists to intercept ALL
messages for the time being.

Do please bin the NAVIDADE.EXE files - which look like a bar code icon, and
don t click on it or execute it. *It seems to be trying to send messages to
others who have sent you messages or who are on your address list then
messes up some of your windows files and application.s=20

I am still trying to find out more about it. Let me know if you know more
than I do.

Peter.
