[Xerte] Re: upgrading to version 3

Content is compatible between the two versions.

We recently updated at Nottingham and didn't really have any issues with the upgrade itself. Tom has released a number of fixes in the zip file on the website, so use that. The biggest gribble was that users will need to clear their cache.

Hi

Before I ask our IT folks to upgrade XOT to version 3, can I be reassured there is backwards compatibility? i.e. Will LOs we made in version 2 still be editable and usable in version 3?

AIso, is there anything in particular we need to be careful of when upgrading?
