Pat,Thanks for the advice. The xwd, rlt, and rlm mime types were not set to text/xml. xwd was set to text/html and the others were not defined at all. I did set them all to text/xml but this did not resolve the problem. I did notice another symptom that may be helpful.
When I select items under my Learning Object (when editing an LO), most of them will not show their settings. The area where the object settings (like Page Title) are usually displayed stays blank.
Any help would be much appreciated.
I may try deleting the whole 9 yards and reinstalling XOT from scratch. Maybe I missed something in the instructions on the first try.
Have a great day,Kent

It might be the xwd mimetype issue?

Subject: [Xerte] XOT Install on Server Problem
I've installed XOT on both my local computer (XAMPP) and on my web host. The local computer XOT seems to work just fine. When I open the Insert menu on the server I see the different items... but they are not in their appropriate menus.
Also, importing projects I've exported from the local XOT fails on the server.
See attachments.
Any ideas on what I could have done wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide,Kent
