[Xerte] Table in Xerte

I suspect that this issue is covered earlier but I didn't find any easy to
do answers.
I am using Xerte (not XOT).
Is there a way to have tables in a xerte page????
Having a snap shot of the table is not enough because I must create links
with <a> tag in words in some cells.
