Subject: [Xerte] Xerte Comes of Age - webinar update Tuesday 25 November at 13:00 - 13:45.
Bookings are being taken for a Xerte online session next Tuesday 25 November at 13:00 - 13:45.
Xerte toolkits has grown significantly over the years and is now part of the Apereo foundation, a global network of educational institutions working together to create and sustain open source software tools that support learning, teaching and research.
Also a new editor interface is being tested which has the potential to give content authors much more flexibility. You can now add rich media, tables and rich text formatting to almost all page types.
In this webinar Alistair McNaught will:
* update you on all things Xerte;
* give a sneak preview of the new editing tool; and
* give you opportunities to get involved with the Xerte community as they make inclusive e-learning easier, affordable and more exciting.
Please note: this webinar is at no charge but it is necessary to book. Use the booking link from the TechDis event web page<http://www.jisctechdis.ac.uk/techdis/events/detail/2014/xerteneweditor24112014> (http://www.jisctechdis.ac.uk/techdis/events/detail/2014/xerteneweditor24112014).
