The thing to do is run the package in the SCORM test suite. If it works, well, it works, and the problem is with the LMS, which is what I suspect. XOT packages work with moodle, yes.

You're right - new installation of eFront and XOT at new machine didn't change anything. SCORM 1.2 packages from XOT don't work with eFront I'll send you a sample package created in XOT.
It's strange, because SCORM standard should be the same for every authoring tool - this is my point of view Do you know, is the XOT works with MOODLE without any problems?
