Hi,
There has been discussions about getting something like this https://github.com/MrRio/jsPDF working to produce certificates or similar...
There is an issue filed here https://github.com/thexerteproject/xerteonlinetoolkits/issues/36 if you want to add your thoughts...

Subject: [Xerte] XOT report writer?
Anyone know of a way I could pull data from an XOT XML file and print a custom report? Ideally, I'd be able to include it or link to it right out of XOT.
