If you deploy the latest XOT LO's to a SCORM compatible LMS this should work.
You need some facility to identify the learner, and store it as a learner
specific setting. I say should, because I received some reports yesterday that
it works using Chrome, but not any other browser. This feature, obviously
sould work regardless of browser and/or computer, but I haven't had the
opportunity to test this.

 If you have a recent version enable resuming via the LO's optional properties
e.g visit this lo http://learningmathsonline.ac.uk/xt/play_3 [1] and as you
navigate to each page watch the url change. If I wanted to resume at page 3 I
would have bookmarked http://learningmathsonline.ac.uk/xt/play_3#resume=3 [2]
