OK spoilsport - how then might I accomplish my dream of a real 'menu'?

Since the point of the html5 is to dispense with the Flash plugin, that
would sort of defeat the purpose.

Hence, I don't believe there is an HTML/JS analog for "Insert Xerte
content".
