It might work best with an embedded page (Navigator>Embed content) if you already know other websites that will create random numbers for you? OR alternatively launch an Excel spreadsheet to do the randomising - I used to use an Excel macro to set up a big button that you pressed to give a random number but I think it's much easier in the current versions of Excel where there's a built in random function.

Hi all,

Just got to know Xerte for a month now and it seems promising. Now I'm teaching statistics at Leuven University College. I'm trying to make exercises with random numbers. For example :

Calculate the average of the following numbers: 5, 3 and 4. (5,3 and 4 would be random chosen by the program).


I'm using now the standard templates and don't find anything that works like this. Is it possible?
