This is just a bit of a sandbox, so the mysql account has full
permissions (same account used to set up all the tables).
Also, I can see that the records get written but don't set the
creator_id or user_id (which I'm guessing is the immediate cause of the
"could not find in db" problem, and symptomatic of some deeper issue
with my setup).
Yes, I'm running on Linux. I'll try setting the developer switch
tonight and see what happens.
Thanks for the response - will let you know what happens with developer
mode switched on once I've had a chance to set that up.
